October Valhalla Special 
As the poster says you will be able to get your tickets for half price. Tickets will be released early next week, but its expected that upon presentation of your student ID you will recieve half price for that ID only. One half price ticket per ID. Another announcement will be made here when they are available.
Other competitions not mentioned on the image, should include a potential trial for a Madden console competition (pending availability), possibly blazblue and other tournaments. The list is by no means final, and feel free to have your say in the relative input threads.
If your primary reason for attending is "leeching" then we will now be grouping you in a specific seating area to greater benefit everyone at the LAN.

ASLAN returns this weekend 
ASLAN (Air-Stream LAN) is a lanning event for gaming fun and also to promote the presence of the Air Stream wireless community in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide. Multiple ASLAN events are planned to be held each calendar year.
ASLAN has a new venue and a new logo! ASLAN is now held at the Hillcrest Community Centre, from 10am until 10pm.
That's 12 hours of lanning goodness all for the small cost of $15.

August LAN over: next up - October Holiday Special! Thanks very much to all of you who came out to the August LAN. We tried some new things, which all seemed to work, and thanks to the survey results we have some new things lined up for the rest of the year.
Coming up in October will be the School Holiday Special with half price entry for anyone with a valid student ID, the probable return of Sega Rally, Starcraft II and Smash Bros Brawl, and we're positively salivating with the introduction of Madden to the competition lineup as a trial! All tickets are available at the door. be aware that booked seating will be held until 2pm and then filled on a needs basis.

Steam updates are available, WoW access should be available and Starcraft 2 access should be available.

Subway are expected between 12-3, and 5-9 or something.

Seating, Survey, Timetable Please note that you have until 6pm Saturday to submit the survey to wookie@valhalla.net.au. The survey is located here. The prize will be drawn at the LAN and you MUST be present to win.
Seating reservations have been updated, you can submit seating reservations without tickets for this LAN ONLY. Tickets will be held until 2pm at the latest unless we are notified otherwise. Finally, please note that the Timetable for the event has been released and is available for discussion in
this thread. Please note changes to the console lineups include a later start for the ps3 fighting comps and a much earlier start for the CSS 5v5 Competition. We have also introduced a Smash Bros competition to Valhalla for the first time.
