Was going to go when the cheap industry tickets popped up but I don't hold much hope for this event.

2 artists with "VAN" in their name playing trance. I don't think theres enough drugs in the world to make me enjoy listen to that and having to put up with 5,000 HQ fluro faggots and their trashy girlfriends :>

I keep missing out on seeing London Elektricty though. Great group with the full live sound.

Bring on the next Summer Break.

Van Helden can eat a dick, but Van Buuren would be quality. I am a fan of good trance though, so shush dn I know we've already had this argument :P
Also would love to see London Elektricity play but dunno if I can justify the cost of ticket + travelling back to SA for it.

I went to WLS last year because of Mixmaster Mike, I had never seen him live before. I thought he was pretty average but all the support acts were good. Good atmosphere too.

whats to know? the event is going to have a couple of hundred people who are there to enjoy the music, and 5000 people fluro faggots wearing these fucken things......

i agree it will be big (earlybirds sold out VERY quickly) but the HQ brigade will be out in force. if i'm going to an event i'd prefer the raver (systo, neogen, etc) or psy crowd than these clowns. ahh well i'll be there to see armin and london, and hopefully theres a few decent support acts or else i'll be rocking up at 9pm

Hey dont get me wrong, I am more of a Raver than anyything else myself too.
I'm more likely to pop up at Systo, Neo, Eternal Energy and life starts at 160BPM, but i also LOVE my trance, Espesh Armin van buren and Armand van helden (I am so keen to hear Aint Armand on a lrge system!)

Knowing this sort of event there will be some good locals, systembot werer there last year with a few others. Actually the problem when they did it at Shores last year was the pathetic light systems. I swear 5 minutes of the strobe flashing constantly nearly put me into a seisure, not to mention the lack of any decent lights, fog in all (bar i think main) rooms, and the fact that the ONLY booze you could buy was canned pre mix shit, leaving me to duck out to the bottleo, because i cant stand Mckenna lol.

well its this weekend, and armin and london are on at the same time :( i think armin is going to have to take preference, but will try and duck out to hear london if i can. should be a fun monday since i'll be driving 3 hours to get there :( oh well, doesn't sound like i'll be missing much before they are on anyway.

Wasnt oo badf - should rename it to we Love lining up though lol.
Rain turned the ground to mud, then everyone crammed into the main tent. Almost got into 3 fights when people cracked it cause you litterally couldnt move out of their way lol when they tried to shove through.

Funniest thing:

when it rained, it appeared like there was an invisible wall around the side of the tent lol.

moar liek We Love Mud. Armin was good, but London was better.... There were also a lot less tools in the London tent. Got to the event just after Armin started and quickly got tired of drunk idiots barging through or standing right in front of you (basically on your toes) like you weren't even there. London had a much more chilled happy crowd and played an awesome set. Fuck Canberra :D
