Hey, I read that you have to pay THEN reserve your seats, but i noticed immortal.sa I'm sure they didn't pay, hehe, it's my brothers team or something, but anyways, do we need a ticket now because I desperately want to pick 2 seats now next to where my friends will be hehe.

When booking seats, ticket numbers have to be supplied.

its highly prefereable that you have tickets in advance. However for teams that have a consistent record opf showing I do tend to accept reservations. From April on, the policy of tickets required for reservation will be enforced.

Or you can do what I did. I live in Whyalla, so I called up gametraders and reserved a ticket with them and used that number to book my seat

Thanks but after going for the first time (yesterday), I realised that reservations don't mean anything apparently :/

Actually thats not true. Anyone who approached myself about seating - what with me being responsible for it and all - had their issues sorted quickly and with very little difficulties.
Please note, this is not the way seating is done normally. Seating is normally indicated in a variety of ways that make it clear who is sitting where. In addition, we do allow groups with a consistent record of attendance (such as immortal) to reserve seating without tickets. This policy is changing next week however due to some of the confusion at this event.
I will say this however, if an admin tells you to move your seat due to you being in a reservation not your own, that should happen immediately. There were several instances where admins under my direction requested people move out of the way and were refused thus making it necessary for me to deal with it personally.
All of these issues will be irrelevant next event anyway due to a return to regular programming.

I'm sure the late notice date changed played its part, but on top of that we were also up against Womadelaide and the Fringe, so we were kind of expecting numbers to be a bit lower for this one. Future Music Festival is this long weekend also, so some may have been saving their pennies for that
